After spending a year as the top earning litigation attorney at a firm that frequently tops verdict search as one with the highest number of trial wins in Texas, Aaron accepted a position as a the managing pre-litigation attorney at another Dallas personal injury firm. Over the next seven years he transitioned to the managing litigation attorney, and that firm grew to one of the largest personal injury firms in Dallas.
In 2010 he formed the Law Firm of Aaron A. Herbert, to get back to a focus on developing each individual case and maximizing case value for each client. Our firm has the resources to investigate and if necessary litigate high value personal injury cases. We value referrals and take pride in the results obtained on referred matters. Moreover, when a referral case is resolved and settlement check deposited into our IOLTA account,
we ensure that the client’s proceeds, referring attorneys’ referral fees, liens and LOP providers are paid before our firm’s fee is paid.
Texas law requires either the referring firm/attorney to have performed substantial work on the case prior to the referral or joint responsibility among the referring and referred firm. We are flexible with either option. At a minimum, the Law Firm of Aaron A. Herbert will pay the referring firm 33.3% of the gross attorney fees collected, however the referral fee percentage is flexible based on the facts and damages of each case and our firm will recover reasonable case expenses incurred by the referring firm.
